A registered behavior Technician is a professional certified behavior analysis. The job as a registered behavior technician is interesting because it’s the person’s responsibility to help develop different skills and behaviors for children. This career falls under the Public And Human Health Services. Some challenges that you might come across is working with different people of all ages that have unique and different behaviors under the Autism spectrum. To become an RBT you need at least a highschool diploma, then complete a 40-hour online training and pass the exam, and become certified as an RBT. When you’re an RBT some duties you will encounter is being with clients, either at a center, home, or in the community. If you want to prepare for working as an RBT I would recommend having a degree in Education or Psychology. You will also need patience and determination. In addition, you also have to show reliability, flexibility and excellence in your work. Becoming an RBT helps the clients and their families succeed. In order to be successful, you must love what you do.
